Chelsea Dental Studio strives to assist patients in reaching and maintaining their optimal dental health. We approach each client as the individual they are, tailoring our approach to both their oral health needs and their comfort and delivering treatment in a warm and welcoming setting.

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Cate Daniel, DMD, FAGD, ABGD

Cosmetic and General Dentist

Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Cate Daniel brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and compassion to her patients. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2010, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, in 2014.


After graduation, Dr. Daniel began her career in the U.S. Navy through a prestigious scholarship program. During her 13 years of service, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency and was stationed at multiple duty locations, including Virginia, Okinawa (Japan), Parris Island, and Fort Sam Houston.


While in the Navy, Dr. Daniel earned her Master’s in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) at Walter Reed Military Hospital. She also achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD) and became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)—a testament to her commitment to continuing education and excellence in patient care.


After completing her military career, Dr. Daniel transitioned to private practice to continue pursuing her passion for dentistry in a more personal setting. She is dedicated to providing exceptional, comprehensive care while creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.


Outside of dentistry, Dr. Daniel enjoys traveling the world, playing tennis and volleyball, spending time with her dog Granger, reading, and keeping up with the latest music and movies. She’s excited to explore all that New York City has to offer and to be part of the team at Chelsea Dental Studio PLLC.

Meet Dr. Adam Herskovits , DDS

Dr. Adam was born and raised in New York City. After earning his B.A. and M.S. at Brooklyn College, he went on to obtain his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. He then completed his general practice residency at Woodhull Medical Center, where his passion for implant dentistry grew. To showcase his dedication to optimize patient care and pursue his interests, he returned to NYU to complete his fellowship in Implant Dentistry. This commitment has earned Dr. Adam the distinguished title of Diplomate from the International Congress of Oral Implantology, demonstrating diversity in implant selection and advanced restorative procedures. Dr. Adam is also an Invisalign provider and is experienced in all aspects of dentistry.
